About

My name is Ulysse Brault-Champion, I am 16 years old and I am a wildlife photographer from Quebec, Canada.
I first became interested in birdwatching about three years ago. I loved going out into nature near my home to observe my very first species of warblers and sparrows. I then developed a passion for bird photography. I wanted to photograph all the new species I saw. Later, I became interested not only in birds, but in wildlife in general. I spent many hours in the forest following the tracks of foxes, fishers, deer, and so on. I had several wildlife encounters that I will remember for the rest of my life, whether it was seeing a herd of caribou atop a majestic Gaspé mountain or a beautiful black bear on a summer morning. Along the way, I also met many extraordinary people who helped me and invited me to join them on their adventures. Then, more and more, I discovered wilder places for wildlife photography. I'm always discovering more magnificent places and I never tire of being in nature. What I love most about wildlife photography is being 100% immersed in the present moment and in exceptionally beautiful natural environments. Encountering animals is the most precious gift during these moments. This passion allows me to discover animal species whose existence I might otherwise have never known!
Through my photographs, I try to raise awareness about the fragility of biodiversity and the importance of protecting it. I'm always looking for new adventures!
